So if you saw my video about putting on the prosthesis… I was in a rush this morning because I needed to get someplace quickly and didn’t have time to fool around with not getting the leg in, so I shorted myself a sock.
I forgot about that when I went to walk - I meant to get on another sock.
I remembered when I started walking, though! lol. Not enough cushion, so I was putting weight on my right leg and arms more, and I tired out more quickly. After 2 laps, it felt like 3. But I pushed another half lap there at the end, so… huzzah for that.
I felt a little unsteady after that, so it was definitely pushing things a bit. I’m extremely paranoid about falling because I don’t have the strength to get myself back up. I haven’t fallen in more than 15 years, and I’m trying to keep it that way. So I have to play things slightly safe. And today pushed things a little close to that boundary. But it was okay.
