Day 26

Well. Two laps today for two reasons:

  1. Neighbor came out to check mail and that slowed me down a bit.
  2. I was already having some wonkiness with the leg, but walking back after neighbor went back inside and my leg tried to buckle a bit. Soooo at that point, I’m done. lol. I can’t fall.

I mean, I can fall. I used to do prat falls in theatre, so I’m actually not overly concerned with falling, but I can’t get back up, so I’d have to call for help. And every damn time I go into the hospital, I’d be a fall risk and have getting up heavily restricted, and I already have to argue my way into independence. So I’m a bit overprotective about falling. heh.

But yeah. Otherwise a night. I would have done three laps had my leg cooperated. Not four, for sure. But a solid three.

Also, I have a cane ordered that should arrive next Monday. It has four little feet. I figured I could use that stability assistance.

I also have plans for whenever my wife is available to go off somewhere that’s flat and a decent distance so she can follow me with the wheelchair and I can just walk as far as I can go, however far that is. Not sure about recording that. I have the tripod, but walking away leaving the phone… we’re not high crime, but we definitely wouldn’t be able to keep an eye on it. And she won’t be able to hold the phone and bring the chair along. Well, unless the brakes aren’t on, and I can stand for a sec while she puts the brakes on… I dunno. I’ll either do that or just put it in my pocket and you can get a shaky view similar to mine as I walk. lol.

Nobody is probably watching this much, just a quick glance to see how the pace is at most, I’d imagine. Unless you sickos are staring at my ass!

(In which case, stare away as you please lol)
