Three laps today, and I’m happy with that. Decent pace. This seems to be the new baseline average, and I’m okay with it.
Also today: Working on the ole resume, but I’m also pretty sure that the job I want isn’t commonly advertised. I need to find a medium-sized company that needs someone to help with administration. I can set up systems to track requests - help make internal scheduling and organization happen - maintain systems that employees use to be more efficient. And I’m an excel guy. I can make automated systems that look up and populate things from various sheets. I actually have written some stuff here: Looking for work
I’m trying to decide whether to look for a company that will hire me, or look for companies for whom I can part-time consult and set it up as a small business. Finding contacts is the hardest part either way. meh.
I hope you will forgive me talking about the job stuff. I didn’t start this to self-promote, but I do use this space to talk about things that are on my mind, and that is definitely on my mind for now. I’ll wax enthusiastic about other subjects again on other days, I promise
